1. Preamble
This privacy policy informs Site users how their personal data is collected and processed, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 ("GDPR") and French Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on data processing, files and freedoms, as amended.
By using the Site and submitting your data, you acknowledge having read this policy.
2. Data controller
The data controller is Farm-3D, a SAS registered with the Valenciennes Trade and Companies Register under number 982 713 901, with registered office at La Citadelle des Savoir-Faire, 83 rue des Mines Innovantes, 59860 Bruay-sur-l'Escaut, France.

Farm-3D has not appointed a data protection officer, as such an appointment is not mandatory under Article 37 GDPR given the nature and volume of the processing carried out. Requests concerning personal data are handled at the address above.
3. Data collected
Farm-3D collects only the data strictly necessary for the purposes described below, in line with the data-minimisation principle.
Via the contact form: name, organisation, email address, phone number and message content. All of these fields are required to handle your request.
Technical connection data: when browsing the Site, certain technical data (IP address, connection logs) may be processed for security and proper operation of the service.
No data belonging to special categories (so-called "sensitive" data) is requested or processed.
4. Purposes and legal bases
Handling and following up contact requests: the legal basis is your consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR), expressed by voluntarily submitting the form, as well as Farm-3D's legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to it (Article 6.1.f).
Security and proper operation of the Site: the legal basis is Farm-3D's legitimate interest (Article 6.1.f).
No decision producing legal effects is taken solely on the basis of automated processing, and no profiling is carried out.
5. Data recipients
Your data is intended only for authorised Farm-3D staff in charge of handling your request.
It may be shared with processors acting on behalf of and on the instructions of Farm-3D, under agreements compliant with Article 28 GDPR:
— OVH SAS (2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France), for hosting the Site and the technical delivery of messages;
— Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), for the business email service used to receive and handle contact requests.
Your data is never sold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Farm-3D favours processors located within the European Union: the Site is hosted in France and the email service is contracted with an entity established in Ireland.
As the email provider belongs to a group established in the United States, transfers outside the European Union may occur. These are governed by the appropriate safeguards set out in Articles 44 et seq. GDPR, in particular the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
7. Retention period
Contact-request data: kept for as long as necessary to handle the request, then for three (3) years from the last contact for business-relationship follow-up purposes, in line with CNIL recommendations, unless an earlier deletion request is made.
Technical connection data: kept for a period not exceeding twelve (12) months, in line with applicable recommendations.
8. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights over your data: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time and to set directives regarding the fate of your data after your death.
You may exercise these rights by writing to christophe@farm-3d.com, providing proof of identity. Farm-3D undertakes to respond within one (1) month of receiving the request.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL), 3 Place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris - www.cnil.fr.
9. Security
Farm-3D implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk and to protect your data against destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access.
10. Changes
Farm-3D reserves the right to amend this privacy policy at any time to reflect legal, regulatory or technical developments. The applicable version is the one in force at the date of your visit to the Site.
11. Audience measurement
The Site measures its traffic with F3D-Sonar, an audience measurement tool developed and hosted by Farm-3D on its own server in France (OVH). No data is sent to a third party.
This measurement is strictly limited to traffic statistics for the Site. What is measured, and nothing else: the pages viewed and their sequence, the length of the visit and the time spent on each page, how far each page is scrolled, how fast pages load and display, the site or search engine you came from (its name only), the country, the type of device, browser and system, the browser language, a class of screen size and of connection speed, the light or dark theme preference, clicks on buttons, on links to other sites (the name of the destination site), on downloadable files and on e-mail or phone links (never the address or the number), the fact that a form was started or sent (never what you write in it), and technical errors on the page, stripped of any personal data.
Audience measurement sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device. Your IP address is never kept: it is used only in memory, to work out your country and then to count the day's unique visitors with a code that changes every day and cannot recognise you from one day to the next, or from one site to another. The data is not combined with other processing and not used for any other purpose. Your browser's "Do Not Track" signal is honoured. If you refuse the measurement with the link below, a single refusal marker, strictly necessary to honour that choice, is placed in your browser.
Legal basis: Farm-3D's legitimate interest in knowing how the Site is used (Article 6.1.f GDPR), within the consent exemption conditions set by the CNIL for audience measurement. No consent banner is therefore required.
Retention: raw data is kept for 13 months at most. Beyond that, only aggregated totals, which cannot identify anyone, are kept.
